We bought a puppy today.
A puppy?! you say. Why, yes. I, Naomi, now have a dog in the house. Jarum has been wanting one forever and I've been rather resistant. However, he pulled the "you've been wanting to plant a garden since we moved in and we have a rabbit problem" line on me, so that made me cave in. She is such a sweetie. She's all settled into her den and she has even been out and about around the living room, trying to get her bearings. Misty (our cat) isn't quite sure what to make of this new smelly creature living in the house. She's keeping her distance for the time being, but hasn't run away in fear, or conversly, tried to take a swipe at the puppy. The kids are totally in love with her already, though. And Jarum! If ever there was a softie towards dogs, he's the one! It's adorable watching him hold her.
Anyway, a lot of you have been asking for pics, so *throws pics at you*

she's cute. Good luck with potty training. I was just scrubbing 'spots' on my carpet, so I am a a littler bitter right now.
What a sweet pup! The third picture was my favorite...
Also, why is the first picture called "Misty and Brownie"? I didn't see Misty anywhere!
