Yesterday, February 14, was Joshua's first birthday. It was mounds of fun and I think that Joshua had a great time. He got all books (because if you give him a book and a toy, he makes a beeline for the book!) and loved them all. Thank you to everyone for the gifts!
Here are some pics for you to enjoy!

Joshua in his pen with his birthday balloons!

Josh opening his presents. He didn't really get into the whole tearing off the paper thing, but he loved looking at the books.

Matt and Josh enjoying the gifts.

Joshua can't help but look at the camera whenever he hears or sees it coming, so we don't have a whole lot of candid shots.

The cake. I don't know what it's supposed to be, but it was fun decorating it!

*blow*

Testing the cake.

The aftermath.

The kid was seriously hyped up on sugar for about an hour after he was finished. It was good times to watch. Chocolate Cake + One year old = LOVE!

Yay for the pictures and yay for Joshy! Didn't I just see him a couple of weeks ago? He's growing up too fast! Make it stop!
Happy birthday Josh! (my almost birthday twin =)
A true story:
A lady I work with has a son named Josh whose birthday was yesterday too! And he also hit a milestone age, 18. He told his mom as he left for his paper route that he was going to stop at the store and buy a lottery ticket first thing, now that he's legal. As he scratched off the ticket when he got home, with his mom watching, it turn out to be a $100 winner! (Mom's worried he'll become a gambling addict now =P)
Anyway, here's wishing your Josh has the same luck in life.
Bless,
Bel~
Good times! My favorite picture is the last one with the cake aftermath. He looks so proud of himself! :)
Happy Birthday, Joshy!
BABY!!!!!!
ADORABLE!!! He looks so happy to be 1 yr old, happier than anyone! :) I love those pictures. I can't wait to take some chocolatey-cakey pics of Eddie. (ooohh yes, you know it will be chocolate....for mama!) I did't realize how much older your Josh is, for some reason I thought he was just a few weeks older than Eddie. Eddie turns 1 Mar 12. Anyway, glad you guys had a good time!
btw-that was nice of you to comment on Jav's blog. :)
Oh, I meant to tell you before, your hair looks awesome! It is still so beautiful and curly, wish mine would be that curly when it's long. You look great!
