First of all, I must apologize profusely for not putting up these pictures weeks ago like I promised some of you. My only excuse is that life for us just kind of exploded with busy-ness and this is the first time I've had in weeks to sit down and update my blog. So yes. Here they are:
These are of Josh his first night in his crib. Our next door neighbors' son didn't like sleeping in his toddler bed so she offered it to us. YAY! It was so nice to be able to take the ever-growing Joshua (now 14 lbs!) out of his bassinet and place him in his crib.
Obviously he's happy, as well.
This is Matt's new "big boy" bed. I've since decked it out in SpongeBob, but I don't have a picture of that yet.
These are of Jacob's las Coach Pitch game. He has really improved over the season and is getting to be quite a good hitter.
Last at-bat.
Even though he missed this one, his batting average was still fairly high!
Kaylee missed her last T-ball game because we took the kids to DISNEYWORLD! We all just needed a break from hectic life, and it was Jarum's idea to go and have some fun! This is in Adventure Land right next to the Pirates ride and the Jungle Cruise.
Heading towards Pirates.
Waiting in a 45 minute line to go on the newly refurbished ride that was still as boring as ever. Boo! The DisneyLand Pirates ride is so much better.
My friend Kimmy has a picture of her nephew in this very same hat, so when I saw it in the gift shop, I had to take a pic.
On our way to Tom Sawyer's Island, one of the kids most favorite places in the Magic Kingdom.
The fort. We could play in here for hours.
Posing with Plinkly? Blinkly? I can never remember! :p
On the Jungle Cruise at night. This was our last ride of the night. We had so much fun and it was really enjoyable to watch Matt as he was finally old enough to understand what the heck was going on this time!
(Just as an aside, we finally convinced Jacob to go on Splash Mountain. He's been terrified of the ride in the past, but I got him to agree to go with me. He started crying right as we were going to go on the biggest slide, but after it was all finished, he said that it was his absolute favorite ride at Disney and that he was going to go on it every time we go. Sheesh! :D Kaylee, of course, thought the whole ride was hysterically funny and was making everybody else in her boat laugh. No fear with this girl! We would have taken pictures if we hadn't been taking turns watching the younger kids at the playground. :)
The next day we went to Downtown Disney (or as Kaylee calls it, "Downtown Dis-e-ney") and let the kids play outside of the mega huge Lego store they have.
That Sea Serpent is made entirely of Legos!
Posing with Patch:
A sneaky picture I took from far away:
Every Wednesday there is a little playgroup that meets at a splash park on Post. This was our first time going, and I think that we'll make a regular habit of it. Note to self: put sunscreen on Matt's feet. He now has the most distinctive sandal tan!
And this last little gem is of Josh helping me fold the laundry. What a good helper!
Well, I hope that you have enjoyed this massive dumping of photos! It's so amazing to watch the kids grow up before your eyes. We just can't wait for the Weltons and the Brysons to come and visit in July for our family reunion. We are really looking forward to it!
